When things doesn't go as you wish

Hey people! Hows weekend? Mine is a great one and it makes me keep on smiling. It means GREAT right?

This is going to be a short one. Right now in the library with the free Wifi and actually I wanted to share about the awesome weekend that I have but I am just too tired for that and I am so depressed currently when the Online Business that I manage (handle) currently is having a great obstacle where each time that I put up my advert on the wall or just anywhere on the board, it wont last for even a day. That makes me wondering, is that a trick done by other competitor (if it is, then why the only advert tear off is MINE?.. Like always MINE?), or is it by the officer because it is not certiified? (If it is, then why lots of uncertified advert is still there hanging till it looks like Batu Bersurat already?)... Herm.. Like I said, too tired to think though deep inside my heart tells that hey Levine, someone Hates you and that someone is trying to condemn you!... What should I do? Patience? Change my account? Change everything? Being Invisible? herm.. What? I got the answer.. For the ONE who did this to me/us MVL, don't worry.. I appreciate that you are being so concern that you managed to track every single advert that I've put up and you never fail in doing your 'tear MVL's poster' job. One thing for sure, I am not weak. Try me. I'll move on. Hate me. I don't care.  Piss me off. I'll ignore.

The 'Big Project' Sharing

Hello everyone! How’s life? Been good? Great? Or it is just an ordinary one which comes and goes as it always does? Well, whatever it is just to remind us all how we important it is for us to be grateful and appreciate everything that we have in this life. Never think that we are the unlucky one because there are some other people who face a harder life than we are.

          Back to the topic for today’s post but before that just let me say SORRY for keep you waiting for the post about this project. I know that I have mentioned about it like long time ago and it really took me a while to be managed to sit and create this post.

          So here we go. Actually, this ‘Big Project’ is one of the tasks given to us as a future educator which knows ‘how to handle a library’. For this task, we were assigned to renovate a library. So, it is just a kind of the ‘surface work’ of library management. Now, let us go through every step that we have experienced all the way in completing this task.

          Just for everyone’s information, we were given a religious school in Papar which is SMKA TDM, Papar, Sabah. It’s an old established school with a new building. So, it means that the library that we have is a totally new and a never-been-used room (for a purpose of a library). So, here it is the picture of the library before we start with the renovation.

So, as you all can see the room is not just appeared in a very messy look but it is also no well organized though it is just an empty un-used room. That would be the biggest problem for each and every one of us. Fortunately, I am a kind of person who really loves organizing, planning, decorating, renovating and doing things that will end up with result that can satisfy me and make me happy. As I have learned and read before (I did it [found out] myself too), the first thing that can make the job easier is that we need to do CLEANING. So we did!

We’ve done cleaning and arranging. What’s next? This might be the LEAST important part for some people but for ME this is the most important thing to do before we start with the renovation. What is it? It is PLANNING! Without a proper planning, we might end up with frustration (due to unexpected result) of re-do the same work over and over again (and it’s wasting time). So, the planning goes like this. I (just an acting leader) divided my so called TEAM into 4 groups where basically each group would have about 6-10 ++ members in their group (my group is only consists of 4 members). So, there it goes. Dividing task and we have our own responsibilities. Just forget about the other group because this post would be so long and that it will make you giving up reading it till the end.

          So, now continue with my own super group! We were assigned to do the circulation section. So, as I always did. Planning! We do our plan first about what to do and the ideas! After we’re done with the planning and brainstorming, all that we need to do is to do a FINAL cleaning up and section clearance. This is really help by the time that we wanted to start with the work.

Now, in our small group we had also divided all the work equally and what makes us a great group is that we help each other to finish each other’s work. How great is that? This part, I think it would be best if it is illustrated through pictures. So, just view these pictures. Hope you like them.

Well, those are the pictures taken during the ‘working’ session. It is amazing because we actually spent about only two days to do the work and yeah, a day of planning. That is what I called as THE POWER OF PLANNING. Now, you might want to see the result of the whole process. Well, yeah. We managed to get it done in a very short period of time. Maybe I should focus more on my Group’s section. As I have mentioned earlier, we were assigned to finish the work at the circulation corner. So here they are!

That’s it! As you can see in the pictures above, we have produced a GREAT result. Don’t we? Well, you might want to see the whole room. The room ‘before and after’ the renovation. I guess to tell them in words might be boring. So, I've uploaded the pictures and you can see them as arranged below.

Well, basically that’s it. It is a great experience actually because it is my own interest (decorating) and I really love it when what I was able to use any specialty that I have to contribute in this ‘Big Project’. Frankly speaking, for me it is supposed to be a medium that we should use to have fun FOR FREE! Unfortunately, different people have different way to look at it. What ever it is, I can’t change people if they have this idea of ‘I WAS BORN THIS WAY!’. And because of that, I also have this one idea about it which is ‘We’ll see if our selfishness and egoism can bring us anyway further than where we are standing right now’.

Hometown sick?

Hello everyone! How is your day today? As I had always mentioned before, Friday is one of my favourite day because it is a start for a ‘full of surprises weekend’. I truly love it. Unfortunately, sometimes there are things that we could not avoid and it often took a.k.a steal a lot of our precious time. *Sigh. What to do? Another *sigh.

 

                But hey! Look on the other side, at least it offers me the experience that I may not get in any other place and any other time? Well, just to make myself stay positive about what ever things that I am doing. I still remember this one nice words said by the Deejay from Traxx Fm if I’m not mistaken. The words are ‘Stay positive in whatever profession that we are doing!’ It is just a short one but as usual I will interpret it in a very complicated way. Just the way I am. I take the words as whatever it is stay positive because it can help to release our tense of things that we are doing or always doing and most important part is that it will keep us on track so that we won’t give up easily. Am I right? Yeah. SO always stay positive.

                Looks like I have stray so far from today’s topic. Now let’s get back to track. This is supposed to be a post about hometownsick. Yeah. HOMETOWNSICK! Well, its November and for about another month it is going to be December and December means Christmas and of course the countdown for the coming of the New Year! Well, thinking about all of these matters it makes me felt like I really miss my hometown and yeah all the families of course. Just look back on what I had in the past, it is full of memory and I longing for it for so long. Its been a while that I didn’t celebrate Christmas with my family.

Tutorial for Pencil Holder D.I.Y

This is kinda crazy but I am so excited to share this with everyone! Yehaa!!!

Hello bloggers! How are you today? I wish everyone a happy day today! Yeah! And for that, I would like to share with you about how to do your own Pencil Holder from a reusable item which cost you less but give you the best service! Okay. So here are the things that you will need for this D.I.Y Pencil Holder.

1. Empty box (I used the empty box of my chocolate drinks).

2. Ruler

3. Pencil

4. Scissor

5. Cello tape

6. Fancy Wrapper

Okay. Now you need to measure the box and draw the lines in the middle of the box as you can see from the picture below.

Now that you have put the line in the middle of the box, you need to cut them according to the line that you have drawn. Remember, you only need to cut it for about 3/4 of the box so it would not be difficult for you to glue them together later.

When you finished cutting them, it will looks like this (See the picture below)

Now that you have cut them that way, you need to stick them together. Use the cello tape to stick them together. Make sure that they stick strongly so that it wont be opened and ruin your Pencil Holder.

It will looks exactly like this once you finished with the sticking (Look at the picture below)

Next, what you need to do is choose the fancy wrapper according to your own interest. Pick the one that you love the most so that this DIY thing will inspire you everyday.

Then, you need to measure them and cut them according to the measurement of your box.

Now, wrap the box with the fancy paper that you have cut into the box size just now. Use a transparent cello tape to stick them and do it gently so that you will have a good result.

 This is how it will look like once you’re finished.

You did it! Now you have a nice, money saving, beautiful and inspiring D.I.Y Pencil Holder. I’ve done mine. So what are you waiting for? Give it a try! Trust me, once you’ve made it you won’t stop from thinking of what you want to fill inside.

Plan. Do. Enjoy.

This is me and my friend in Korean Food Eating Competition.. Can You believe that? Haha

Hey People! How is your weekend? Mine was great. Maybe for some people it is just a normal one but seriously I didn’t have a ‘Normal weekend’ since the beginning of the semester. Well, at last I managed to have a normal weekend few days ago and I am super happy because I will have my three days holiday starting from today! Yeah! Happy!

So, talking about that this is what I have done during my ‘normal’ weekend. Even though I tried my best not to wake up early on Saturday but I can’t help it I am so used to it. It is okay.

Hahaha! The first thing that I did when I woke up is planning for my room’s decoration. I also do some re-looking at my own private life storyline. Yeah!! I really have the time for myself though I still want more.

Basically this is what I have done during my precious weekend, I do planning for the decorations and I also continue my job in handling and managing my online business (you can follow me on my online business blog http://myvarietylevine.blogspot.com/ )

I love doing it. I love it that I have the time to calculate and do my business planning, do my room decorations and of course have a nice weekend with what I love to do tough I actually stay n my room for the whole day! Hahaha!

          Anyway, Sunday is a special one because I managed to be in Sacred Heart Church KK on time, have the place to seat and I bought some interesting reading stuff from the church. The most important thing is that I actually FOUND MY LONG SEEKING BOOK FROM MY BELOVED AUTHOR. That what makes me Super Happy!

The ‘Big Project’ teaser

Hello bloggers, readers and everyone! How is your day today? It’s Friday! I don’t know why when it comes to ‘Friday’ I always felt super duper happy. I think it is because of this hectic semester that I am having currently. Well, that is what a student has to go through right? I know that I am going to miss all of this moment of being a student, to be precise being a UMS student! Yeah! Never that I imagined being covered under Monday blues but yeah this semester I’ve felt it and I know why. Haha!

            Anyway, back to the topic. As you can see above, the topic for today is ‘The “Big Project” teaser’. Still remember that I am doing my ‘Big Project’ for this current semester? Well, actually the renovation part has DONE and right now my friend and I are still working on another part of the project which is our corporate video. I know it sounds hard and it is proven when none of the member is willing to do it by saying there are inexperienced. I am also inexperienced but I just take it as a challenge and for me it is a good thing that I can work with someone who has a great profile in this field. Above all, the experience and knowledge is all that matters! Who knows one day I can be a producer that produces my own Platinum Album (as I always wish)? Yeah! Thumbs up!

Since this is just a teaser, well I am going to talk about what have we I done before going for the project. As a future educator we need to know about how to handle a library in terms of book labelling, cataloguing and much more. So, to get to know all of these precious knowledge and skill we went to Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan Negeri Sabah for a one day seminar. Here we learn about lots of new and great thing and they are so kind to us. They even sponsored some items for our project. God Bless You peeps! We were brought into a recording studio and yeah it was AWESOME!

It was a great experience and I am really excited about it. We I really enjoyed myself there and I took some pictures with their great and incredible instrument and gadget. I like it so much. I know that I am still under confusion of whether I am going to be a school students educator or a University student educator but I think I might be excited to be one of the teacher in charge for the school library (its tiring but its worth a try).
