Dilemma

Good morning peeps! Coming back from a long break (from blogging) and its going to be a short one (I hope). A little update on me, I just (kind of) got back from my housemate's hometown which is in Tawau, Sabah for Raya Celebration with his family. We drove to Tawau on Thursday morning (July 16) and arrive in the late afternoon. It was a very short visit for me because I decided to go back to Kota Kinabalu on Saturday and to be more respectful I took the night flight. Yes. Flight! Haha..  Because I don't think that I can bear the long journey if I were to save my money and go by 8 hours + + bus. I know I may sound so "arrogant" but yea, it was a bless that I bought the ticket under RM200 which is so rare the fact that I bought on Friday morning and fly the next day. Great Value! Thanks to AirAsia. :) The flight took about 50 minutes (printed on the ticket) but I think it took less than that. Yeay! So, when I step out of the plane and see a familiar view, I felt at ease (as if I just got back from my real hometown) which is funny! Hahaha... Overall, it was a nice experience and I can finally say that I have experienced the journey to Tawau by the road and plane. And it feels good that it was a new experience. Perhaps I should spend some money on Baju Melayu. At least I won't feel awkward next time if I were to induldge in the Muslim's or Malay's culture. 1 Malaysia, are we? Yea! :)

Spent some quality time for myself and selfie before while getting ready for work this morning. LOL!

Seems like I have stray a bit far from the main topic for today. And obviously this is not a short post.
As stated in the title above, I am in a dilemma, still. I had a conversation (phone call) with a friend last night and we both have the same dilemma which is to be an educator in school or uni. The indecisive thought is because first, we are not so sure where we are going to be sent (which school and which area) as well as will we be satisfied with the working experience if we were to have our job in the university? We both are planning to pursue our masters and of course to get it to the highest level (PhD), if God's will. Most says that if we are planning on pursuing our study, working in the university is the best choice. But deep down we both know that we will enjoy ourself better in school with that kind of surrounding which most people find that its funny because we do not mind of the clerical works that most "educators" think that is not the main business of an "educator". Well, that is what we call as work satisfaction! :) For now, I can just hope for the best, I am not so sure which state that I will be sent to ass my first school to teach. Seriously I have no idea where and when it will be announced. Just hope for the best!

Thats all for now. Get back to work!

Have a nice day and God Bless.

If you can adopt why do you want to buy?

Hello everyone! Good morning! Happy Thursday. may this day give us all a blessed and peaceful life for the day. Today's entry will be basically about pets. Well, to be exact it is about this one kind organization named Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) . You can google that name for more details of you can just log on to http://www.spcakk.org/ for those who wants to know more about homeless pets in Sabah, Malaysia. For those who wants to know about the Sarawak's SPCA, you may log on to http://www.sspca.sarawak.com.my/ . Well, most of them are using Facebook Fan Page to ease the communication between the organization and the public. Anyway, for those who wants to know more, let say you are somewhere far from the two states mentioned above you may search them on the internet and tadaaa there you go!

As the tagline says "Why buy? Adopt!" or as I rephrase it in my title "If you can adopt why do you want to buy?", I would like to inform everyone who are currently reading my blog, please go and have a look at these pets. You may bump into one or more than one pets that attracts you attention and perhaps you can just adopt instead of buying them with an expensive price from any pet shops or flee market. The main reason for the adoption is of course to get a permanent home for these homeless animals and get them protected. However, there is another problem that you will help to solve if you adopt the animal(s). There are a lot of stray dogs and cats, and it keeps on coming. So, by adopting the animal(s) you will free some space for the upcoming stray animals. Trust me, it might seem to be a small effort but its a BIG STEP!

Just to ensure that you get the information needed, I have uploaded some picture taken from the page and also some extra readings if you are interested to adopt.

And here you go, things that you need to know before you decide to adopt. Do not worry, its easy, just relax! Hahaha...

Adoption Application
How to Adopt a Pet

Is a Pet Right for You?
1. Can you provide the LOVE, PATIENCE, TIME and COMMITMENT needed to settle a pet into his or her         new home?
2. Can you offer the RIGHT ENVIRONMENT to keep a pet happy and comfortable, and to be part of your       family and home?
3. Can you AFFORD THE COST OF FOOD, VETERINARY BILLS and EQUIPMENT that a pet may need?
4. Can you CARE FOR A PET - or make sure he or she is cared for - EVERY SINGLE DAY?

If you think you can give a new home to one of our pets, please read on...

Adoption Guidelines

1. If adoption request is genuine, our personnel will have a friendly interview/visit to potential home - this is to ensure both parties, new owners/animal are suitable for each other. In the case of a junior wanting to adopt, we need to talk to the parents first to ensure they are in agreement with their child having a new pet in the family.

2. The animal, if not yet vaccinated/spayed/neutered, is to go for a general checkup/treatment at a Veterinary Clinic. If possible, the animal is immediately vaccinated to prevent it picking up any infection or disease. In some case, it is spayed/neutered at the same time.

3. The home surroundings of the potential owner is also taken into consideration to ensure the new family member will be safe from harm or danger. This is done by our Inspectorate personnel who will do follow-up visits from time to time until the animal has safely settled in.

4. Any animal that has been adopted by anyone cannot be given away to others or moved to another location without our prior knowledge or permission of SPCA.

5. If all are in agreement, please continue fill up the standard Adoption form and agreement to all our required conditions.

The above terms and conditions are set out to prevent the pet from ending up on the street.

..................................................................................................................................

See? Easy right? So, lets act! Do something good today! Animals can't speak for themselves. We can! So, lets play our part. Action speaks louder that words but words can also change something bad into good things!

That is all for today. Thanks for dropping by. Do share my entry if you feel like it. Follow my blog and leave some comment. I really appreciate it.

God Bless and Have a nice, blessed day and Life. :)
