The Holiday Project 2

So, here we go again. Another post on some stuff that I have been working with (I’ve been doing) during the Semester break (Holiday) as I named it ‘The Holiday Project 2’.

Before that, how is everyone again? Well, really wish that everyone is okay and do well! Anyway, just for a little update about me (making myself a Superstar?! Haha). I am currently busy with my final exam. I really want to excel in it. Pray for me yea? Thank you for your prayer! I make myself busier and more busy this year because as I have stated before, I am going to work harder for myself and of course for my online shop MyVariety Levine (MVL) Click Here. I am working harder to make sure that I update my MVL blog as frequent as I can with info’s and of course new and current product that MVL have. Same goes with the Adam Online. I don’t want to be too busy that I left this blog stay in ‘silence’.

Coming back to the topic. As you can see, I in the above picture am holding a coconut! I like coconut drinks! Well, during that holiday I went to my friends hometown and yeah, we do a lot of thing ‘a village boy’ kinda thing! The picture was taken after we help his uncle cutting down a coconut tree! It was FUN!

While waiting and chit chatting with his relatives, I learned how to do ‘ketupat’ not cooking it but ‘anyam’ fold it. At first it was so hard but then once I got the idea on how to do it then I felt that it is fun and interesting! Yeah!

See the picture above? Guess what it is? Actually it is a mixture of flour and stuffed to do ‘kueh lapis’. My friend love to bake things like that, so I take the opportunity to give a hand and at the same time learn how to make it! I am super duper excited about it!

Besides of baking the ‘kueh lapis’ we also baked ‘kueh sago’. I like it because it is easy to make and yeah! NICE!

See, the result is AWESOME! I like baking to and I want to open my own café in the future! Such a business minded future teacher! Haha! Wish that I could make it happen to own my own product in one mini stall somewhere here soon! Wish me luck! Pray for me yea? Thank you!

Sarawak Layer Cake a.k.a Kek Lapis Sarawak and the Christmas Delivery!

Today’s post will be about a delivery that I received after the Christmas Eve. Well, as I have mentioned before, I am not going back for Christmas and I just stay here in Sabah celebrating Christmas with my friends here.

Because of that, I have actually asked my mum to send me something. I didn’t stated what the thing exactly is, but she knows what I want and what I need. So, since one of my friend who went back to Kuching for Christmas are willing to help me with the delivery so, thanks a lot to her!

So, here are the things that they send to me:

This is what I asked from her because I need it here since it is quite hard for me to get here. I really need it. Holy Water! Haha!

Guess what is inside this box. 

Actually I don’t really know who send it to me because none of them tell me about it and I don’t know who should I thanked for it? Erm… I guess that’s the result of late-news-update?

My favourite coffee

This is one of my favourite drinks. I’ve been searching for it here but I couldn’t find it. When I looked at the packaging, then I realized that it is made in Kuching, Sarawak. Then I know why it is so hard for me to find it here in Sabah. Seriously I love it! You should have a try!

Well, as I have mentioned earlier the box that is sent to me contains 3 Sarawak Layer Cake with different flavours which are Cadboury Chocolate, Evergreen, and also Cheese. Love them all! By the way if you feel that you want to buy and have a try of this very famous Sarawak Layer Cake, just put it in your comment here and I’ll try my very best to get it for you okay? So, here are all the cakes. Seriously it is so delicious that I can’t even forget the taste and I always ask for more whenever I have the opportunity to have it! Haha! So, why don’t just give it a try then?

The 2012 Holiday Project I

Hello everyone! How’s life? Yeah. Still with the same old question as usual but of course with a better goal for this year. I know that this is kind a late but I hope that it is not too late for me to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2013. Well, as the topic stated above I am going to post something on what I’ve been doing during my ‘holiday’ weeks ago. I guess that is one of the ways for me to pay the ‘missing’ moment of me when I am away from my blog like quite a while. Right?Okay, I would like to start with the Christmas Eve in 2012 where actually, we were free only starting from 24^th December 2012 since we have an assignment that we need to submit by 17.00 pm on that date. Well, after submitting the assignment we, the Alfahrey’s went to 1 B to have our dinner. Yeah, and some planning for the next day which is 25^th. Its Christmas! So, that morning went to church for Morning Christmas Prayer at Sacred Heart KK. A lot of people there and since we were late, we just join form the outside. *Sigh (but still super excited). There were three of us, me, Aiem and also Corina (my junior in High School). After the prayer, we went to KK while waiting for other friend to come and fetch us.So, our first house for the day is Zeuricca’s house! Yeay. So, we went to Penampang. Although we lost the direction at the beginning, but because our house owner (the house that we are about to visit) is so nice, she fetch us somewhere and lead us to her house. Well, we finally reach her house and yeah, its quite big and beautiful. I love the colours and the design. Haha..Its fun because Dayang and Melda were also there! We have nice food, watch nice movie while enjoying our food and Zeu has also brought us outside her house to walk around and get some ‘Rambutan’. Haha.. Funny! Well, that’s it in Zeu’s house. Next, we went to another friend’s house in Papar. Golo’s house! I like the surrounding where it reminds me to my hometown. Huhu… Kind of sad that I couldn’t go back but yeah, I am taking the opportunity to visit my friend’s house here in Sabah! Super happy because it is kind of once in a lifetime chance!After that, we went to another friends house in Papar. It Golo's house! I really love the soup and I even asked for the recipe! HAHA!Seriously! Its DELICIOUS! Haha.. And yea, I love the cat that they called as TUPAI! Punyalah Kiut!That's it for my very first post for this year. Its kinda late and I don't know when another one will come, hopefully soon, because I am currently kinda busy. Haha..
