First Post for 2016, 9th month after my 1st posting, its May.

Hello. Welcome back to this blog. And yeah. I know that I was gone for quite some time of more than a year to be exact. Woke up at this hour and thinking of posting something right here right now. Well, I may not be as accurate as how I used to be in using this thing, I mean blogging since my working hours and loads requires me to be mobile phone online instead of laptop online all the time. So, this is going to be a quick one. I will upload pictures from one of our recent activity which is the Camp for the Uniform Club in the school were I am posted to. So, here we go...

Time flies... Need to let it go...

Hello. Good evening everyone. Late evening to be exact. This time around it has been a real while since the last time that I took some time to drop by and say something in this page. Busy? Maybe? Just to remind myself for the future and to have a share with everyone, tomorrow is going to be the final day of school for this year 2015. However, since I am assigned to be one of the invigilator for the Malaysia Certificate of Education 2015, I will have to stay until 3rd of December. Time flies so fast isn't it? I have been so busy lately and I know that I really need to find some time to sit and reflect myself upon things that I have been doing throughout the years. Only then, I should be able to plan a better plan for the coming year.

Anyway, just to share with all of you. Our school held  the sports day for the students and the teachers. It is super fun despite of me as one of the invigilator could not make it to stay from the beginning till the end because I have to invigilate the examination. However, as soon as I finished my work at the exam hall, I rush myself to the stadium to help out and of course to be part of that special event by taking the chance to get to know more students and teachers better.

I really need to submit my reports and lots of things tomorrow, so I guess I should say bye for now and I leave you with these photos taken during the event.

Me and the twins... Adore them so much... what a perfect bond between brothers.

Here we are... All the new teachers for this year of 2015...
8 were posted in February and 3 including me were posted in August

Dilemma

Good morning peeps! Coming back from a long break (from blogging) and its going to be a short one (I hope). A little update on me, I just (kind of) got back from my housemate's hometown which is in Tawau, Sabah for Raya Celebration with his family. We drove to Tawau on Thursday morning (July 16) and arrive in the late afternoon. It was a very short visit for me because I decided to go back to Kota Kinabalu on Saturday and to be more respectful I took the night flight. Yes. Flight! Haha..  Because I don't think that I can bear the long journey if I were to save my money and go by 8 hours + + bus. I know I may sound so "arrogant" but yea, it was a bless that I bought the ticket under RM200 which is so rare the fact that I bought on Friday morning and fly the next day. Great Value! Thanks to AirAsia. :) The flight took about 50 minutes (printed on the ticket) but I think it took less than that. Yeay! So, when I step out of the plane and see a familiar view, I felt at ease (as if I just got back from my real hometown) which is funny! Hahaha... Overall, it was a nice experience and I can finally say that I have experienced the journey to Tawau by the road and plane. And it feels good that it was a new experience. Perhaps I should spend some money on Baju Melayu. At least I won't feel awkward next time if I were to induldge in the Muslim's or Malay's culture. 1 Malaysia, are we? Yea! :)

Spent some quality time for myself and selfie before while getting ready for work this morning. LOL!

Seems like I have stray a bit far from the main topic for today. And obviously this is not a short post.
As stated in the title above, I am in a dilemma, still. I had a conversation (phone call) with a friend last night and we both have the same dilemma which is to be an educator in school or uni. The indecisive thought is because first, we are not so sure where we are going to be sent (which school and which area) as well as will we be satisfied with the working experience if we were to have our job in the university? We both are planning to pursue our masters and of course to get it to the highest level (PhD), if God's will. Most says that if we are planning on pursuing our study, working in the university is the best choice. But deep down we both know that we will enjoy ourself better in school with that kind of surrounding which most people find that its funny because we do not mind of the clerical works that most "educators" think that is not the main business of an "educator". Well, that is what we call as work satisfaction! :) For now, I can just hope for the best, I am not so sure which state that I will be sent to ass my first school to teach. Seriously I have no idea where and when it will be announced. Just hope for the best!

Thats all for now. Get back to work!

Have a nice day and God Bless.

If you can adopt why do you want to buy?

Hello everyone! Good morning! Happy Thursday. may this day give us all a blessed and peaceful life for the day. Today's entry will be basically about pets. Well, to be exact it is about this one kind organization named Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) . You can google that name for more details of you can just log on to http://www.spcakk.org/ for those who wants to know more about homeless pets in Sabah, Malaysia. For those who wants to know about the Sarawak's SPCA, you may log on to http://www.sspca.sarawak.com.my/ . Well, most of them are using Facebook Fan Page to ease the communication between the organization and the public. Anyway, for those who wants to know more, let say you are somewhere far from the two states mentioned above you may search them on the internet and tadaaa there you go!

As the tagline says "Why buy? Adopt!" or as I rephrase it in my title "If you can adopt why do you want to buy?", I would like to inform everyone who are currently reading my blog, please go and have a look at these pets. You may bump into one or more than one pets that attracts you attention and perhaps you can just adopt instead of buying them with an expensive price from any pet shops or flee market. The main reason for the adoption is of course to get a permanent home for these homeless animals and get them protected. However, there is another problem that you will help to solve if you adopt the animal(s). There are a lot of stray dogs and cats, and it keeps on coming. So, by adopting the animal(s) you will free some space for the upcoming stray animals. Trust me, it might seem to be a small effort but its a BIG STEP!

Just to ensure that you get the information needed, I have uploaded some picture taken from the page and also some extra readings if you are interested to adopt.

And here you go, things that you need to know before you decide to adopt. Do not worry, its easy, just relax! Hahaha...

..................................................................................................................................

Adoption Application
How to Adopt a Pet

Is a Pet Right for You?
1. Can you provide the LOVE, PATIENCE, TIME and COMMITMENT needed to settle a pet into his or her         new home?
2. Can you offer the RIGHT ENVIRONMENT to keep a pet happy and comfortable, and to be part of your       family and home?
3. Can you AFFORD THE COST OF FOOD, VETERINARY BILLS and EQUIPMENT that a pet may need?
4. Can you CARE FOR A PET - or make sure he or she is cared for - EVERY SINGLE DAY?

If you think you can give a new home to one of our pets, please read on...

Adoption Guidelines

1. If adoption request is genuine, our personnel will have a friendly interview/visit to potential home - this is to ensure both parties, new owners/animal are suitable for each other. In the case of a junior wanting to adopt, we need to talk to the parents first to ensure they are in agreement with their child having a new pet in the family.

2. The animal, if not yet vaccinated/spayed/neutered, is to go for a general checkup/treatment at a Veterinary Clinic. If possible, the animal is immediately vaccinated to prevent it picking up any infection or disease. In some case, it is spayed/neutered at the same time.

3. The home surroundings of the potential owner is also taken into consideration to ensure the new family member will be safe from harm or danger. This is done by our Inspectorate personnel who will do follow-up visits from time to time until the animal has safely settled in.

4. Any animal that has been adopted by anyone cannot be given away to others or moved to another location without our prior knowledge or permission of SPCA.

5. If all are in agreement, please continue fill up the standard Adoption form and agreement to all our required conditions.

The above terms and conditions are set out to prevent the pet from ending up on the street.

..................................................................................................................................

See? Easy right? So, lets act! Do something good today! Animals can't speak for themselves. We can! So, lets play our part. Action speaks louder that words but words can also change something bad into good things!

That is all for today. Thanks for dropping by. Do share my entry if you feel like it. Follow my blog and leave some comment. I really appreciate it.

God Bless and Have a nice, blessed day and Life. :)

Before June End

Hello everyone. This is a post made before June come to an end. Well, there should be lots of things that I wanted to say but let see how far will it goes. First of all, I would like to express my deepest expressions of feeling grateful that FINALLY.. I mean it, FINALLY the result for the interview was announced! So, just to keep this as a record. It was announced by SPP on 26th June 2015 (Friday) and I checked mine and my friends' result at about 5.30 pm. I was surprised and happy because the 'too-long-wait' has finally end. However, there are still a lot of things to do before we can be officially go to the appointed school to teach. And as my seniors said, we do not have the right to choose which school or which state or area that we want to go to teach but we should be grateful enough that we are among those who has passed the interview. And yea. Grateful.

Teslian 2010-2014
Seriously, everyone was super duper happy over the fact that we can finally call ourselves 'Teacher' but yeah, for me not really a teacher until "Disahkan Jawatan". For the time being I will still do my normal routine while waiting for the next announcement on what we should do next. And yea, I am still here in the office, doing research stuff and teaching in the tuition center as a side job. Lot's of things to do and things to think of. I really want to pursue my studies until it reach the highest level because if I could not make it to own a title as Medical Doctor, at least I can have the Philosopy Doctor in front of my name. hahaha... I believe I can. Yes! Going abroad is also one of my biggest dream and perhaps marrying a British/European girl would be a life bonus! Hahaha... I did told these stories to my former Supervisor who happens to be my lecturer and our Head of Program, and guess what is her respond? She laugh and ask whether I am handsome enough to marry that kind of girl? Haha.. well, I want to have a beautiful daughter and a handsome son and of course with wisdom, and I believe maybe that can help. Haha.. God knows best! hahaha.....

Anyway, just wanted to share something. I made a life history yesterday where right after the mass, I joined the blood donation campaign and donate my blood for the first time. It was terrifying but I am so glad that I made it! Yes! haha... Have you ever donate your blood? Go and challenged yourself..hahaha....

Okay. I think that should be it for now. Thanks for dropping by. Do leave some comment or at least hit the "FOLLOW" button. I really appreciate it. :)

#prayforsabah

Good morning world. This post is dedicated to the people if Sabah who was recently shocked by the earthquake. I am not Sabahan, but being someone who live here since 2010 makes me a part of the community. This is another home of mine.

I would like to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on this event. I was actually in Sarawak when the first tremor occured and when I saw the news on TV with messages overloaded in my WhatsApp group, I was in a great shock knowing that Sabah which is a part of Malaysia experience a phenomena which I normally heard from other country. Come to think of it, the climate change and the weird, unpredictable weather can make everything possible. I does not really feel the fear at first because I knew that place, I lived there nut because I was not there when it happened for the first time, I can only have a 'thought' that it must be terrifying. However, when I came back on the 8th of June everyone asked me, am I not scared that it might happened again? When they asked me such question, I do feels like "Should I be scared? Or excited? Or pretend that it would not happen just to calm myself down?". Seriously, I do not know. Now, on the 13th of June, the second strongest tremor happened again with the scale of 5.6 Richter, 2.30 am, I was sleeping in my living room when I heard the cracking sound of the earth (which I thought at first) and the building (when I realized there are lots of cracks on the wall). I woke up immediately and was blurred for about 2 seconds. My friend who was laying down next to me sounds nervous and the only thing that came to my mind when it happened was, do a sign of cross and started to recite Our Father and Hail Mary prayer. At that moment, I do not know what else to do and if its meant for me to begone at that hour, I can only hope my prayer is heard, Then, when the building stop shaking, later I asked myself, what should I do for real when it happened? I do not know for sure, but most people told me that I should run, but then I asked myself, where to?. Here's a message for myself and everyone. God is always there, He knows us very well, He knows our fear and He always protect despite of how stubborn and rebellious we are. So, never forget to pray in our good and bad times because God never choose when to be with us. He always there for us.

Anyway, I would also like to announce something here. Due to the heavy rains and earthquake, some areas in Sabah were badly affected. The biggest problem now is, lack of clean water for their consumption. So, we are trying to get some fund to supply clean water for the villagers. So if you are kind enough to donate some money for the water suppy. You may do so by donating some money or drinking water. We have placed the donation box in the main office at Pusat Penataran Ilmu dan Bahasa (PPIB), Universiti Malaysia Sabah. If you have anything to ask or planning to donate via account transfer, do let me know. I'll guide you from here. whatsapp or sms or call me at +6011-25375047 or email me at adamgeordreyjames@gmail.com . Thank you and God Bless,

Work . Life . Believer

Hello everyone. How was your day? How was your week? How is everything? This is going to be a short one too. I am still at my workplace while waiting for the right time to leave before my night class later at 7.00 pm. I am supposed to talk more on the Easter Season which has passed for almost a week now. I am glad that though I am not a good worshiper, I always fail when it comes to practice what I/is preached but I am glad that for the year 2015, I managed in attending the 3 mass (Good Friday, Easter Virgil and Easter Sunday). Thank you to my friend, my former course mate, Jell. These are some photos taken.

Me with my candle - This reminds me of the time in my small town, Car Pit (Guess it by yourself)

Selfie in the car - Easter Egg

Beautiful View at Sacred Heart Cathedral Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

The church was super full and crowded, so we have to sit in the 'Live streaming' section

It was such a tiring and busy week but I am so blessed that I was given the chance by God of course to be able to attend the prayer, and special thanks to my friend, Jelita Liza anak Musa. :)

I am kind of nervous because I am currently planning for something which I really hope is going to be great. A lot of things to consider, but one thing for sure is, another Saturday away from the Bachelor's Flat. :)

I will try to update on that soon. For now, I can only say that I am a working person (maybe?) , and I am trying to enjoy my life to the fullest in my own way, and I need to work my best as a believer (do not want to stray away).

That is all for now, stay safe, happy, lovely and kind. God bless us all.
